My Authentic Innovation Plan

In this course, I identified technology innovations that my company could embrace in order to create a blended-learning based K-6 curriculum on a wide scale. I developed a proposal and implementation outline that details this plan, and conducted a review of literature that supports this model of instruction. Finally, I integrated and connected all of these pieces together into a cohesive plan using what I learned about learning, technology, and communication from course readings and videos.

This course encouraged and challenged me to actively use the growth mindset as I received feedforward and feedback from my peers and my professors and allowed me to experience the CSLE+COVA approach in action. This course will serve as the foundation for all other courses I will take in the ADL program, and as a starting point for how I will bring this method of thinking, learning, and creating to my organization. By continuing to embrace challenges as learning opportunities and exploring innovative educational technologies, I hope to encourage my colleagues at HMH to fully embrace the growth mindset and blended-learning environments as the next market opportunity for us to explore.

HMH is in a great position to leverage our current offerings, technology, and resources to truly transform the mainstream classroom, and I believe my plan can be a valuable resource and basis for that transformation.
